From October 28 to 31, 2023, ORP leaders participated in THE 88TH CHINA INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FAIR to discuss research and further study.

Rising life expectancy and disposable income will lead to rapid growth in the demand for multi-level and diversified health management, and the overall demand for health products and services will also increase significantly.
CMEF has been an important international platform for global medical device companies to demonstrate their innovative strength. The 88th edition of CMEF is a comprehensive trade show covering the entire industry chain, with exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, products and applications that integrate innovation, new trends and real-world scenarios. The theme of this year is to explore the power of digital intelligence – medical device digital operation innovation and development, to reduce costs and improve core competitiveness of enterprises to provide new information, new technology, new ideas, in line with the development trend of the digital economy and the development needs of the medical industry, will play an important role in promoting the development of medical device industry in the whole country.

The innovative development of digital operation of medical devices is an important trend in the current medical industry, which makes full use of digital technology and information technology to improve the medical device supply chain, improve the quality and efficiency of medical services, and promote the management and operation of medical institutions. ORP leaders agree to actively develop digital operations for the following reasons:

• Supply Chain Management: Digital operations can improve supply chain management for medical devices, including logistics and inventory management, supplier relationship management, and procurement and distribution process optimization. With digital technology, healthcare organizations can track and manage the full life cycle of devices, improving supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Data analytics and decision support: Digital operations can collect, integrate, and analyze data related to medical devices, including information such as device usage, maintenance records, and patient feedback. This data can be used to help healthcare organizations make decisions, such as when to repair and update equipment, improve equipment utilization and maintenance effectiveness.
• Remote monitoring and maintenance: Digital operations can achieve remote monitoring and maintenance of medical devices, through sensors and Internet connectivity, medical institutions can monitor the health and performance of equipment in real time, timely detection and solution of potential problems, improve the reliability and availability of equipment.
