The fourth General Meeting and the fourth council of Shenyang Medical Device Industry Association successfully concluded on August 11 in the afternoon. The conference was attended by leaders from provincial and municipal drug safety and labor departments, representatives from medical device enterprises, and members of the association. The conference gathered about a hundred participants who discussed the development and challenges of the medical device industry.
The conference was themed “Working together to create a strong and prosperous medical equipment industry” and featured a warm atmosphere and rich contents. The representatives of the member institutions expressed their commitment to the development of Shenyang’s medical equipment industry and the continuous growth of the association. Song Hai, deputy director of the Medical Device Supervision and Management Office of Liaoning Province Drug Administration, praised the efforts and contributions of the industry association for the development of the province’s medical device industry in his speech. He said that the industry association had leveraged its strengths to facilitate communication and cooperation between the government, enterprises, markets and business associations in and outside the province, which had a positive impact on the safety and health of the medical devices in the province. He hoped that the association would continue to enhance its own construction, act as a “liaison” between enterprises and the government, and support the association to work together with the association to make progress. He said that this would help create a healthy Liaoning, achieve a new breakthrough in the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning, and win the “LiaoShen Battle” of the new era with extraordinary measures.
